The Magical Garden is a family run business based outside Atlanta, Georgia. We started with Bruce's hand crafted copper ornaments and have expanded our selection to include other garden ornaments we feel enhance the natural beauty of any garden.

This red shouldered hawk made a nest last spring in one of the tall trees in our garden. We haven't seen him very often but assume there is a pair and maybe even babies. We can't see the nest because it is so high and there are so many leaves in the summer. I (Karen) was glancing out my bedroom window and saw him sitting on the deck railing. I ran downstairs and got my digital camera. I started taking photos from the bedroom as fast as the camera would take them. He saw me and suddenly spread his wings and flew over to the edge of the roof that juts out next to the bedroom window. He was investigating me! I snapped 3 more photos before he left. He was about 3 feet from me. It was awesome being so close to something so wild and powerful.
