Each magical whimsy is different; you have an original piece of art. The garden sculptures are cut by fire and reshaped by the artist's imagination. They are durable, weatherproof images of wildflowers, insects, reptiles, raindrops, and other abstract forms.

To create our garden ornaments, the designs are traced onto copper sheets, rods, or tubing. The copper is cut with either metal shears or a welding torch.

One of Bruce's signature techniques is "fire-cutting". After the design is traced onto the copper, it is cut out of the sheet with a welding torch - actually melted out rather than cut. This produces a unique effect and is used on the flower petals, the dragonfly wings, and the solid butterfly wings.

Depending on the item, it is then welded, bent and hammered to achieve the artist's intent. Crystals, glass, and bronze are added for eyes, wings, petals, tongues, or color spots. Then they are welded onto stakes or hanger loops. We start them on the aging process chemically. Over time this will develop into a beautiful patina. All parts are weather proof and rust free.
